The Living Mine Project

Project (written through Ascension and to be released on Pentecost) is designed to be the Yin to the Yang of The Living Tome Project (which was launched on Easter, 2020).

The Living Tome Project required the exchange to be Additive.

The Living Mine Project requires the exchange to be SUBTRACTIVE.  It is an exercise in zero-sum and, as such, requires two ACTIONS:

1. LEAVE BEHIND NOTHING (Use the intellectual/spiritual infrastructure of Burning Man) and;

2. TAKE ONLY WHAT YOU NEED (Use the intellectual/spiritual infrastructure of Christian Communists/Diggers & Levelers/and Christian Liberation Theologians like Leo Tolstoy).

But before you begin mining the mine of me—to extract from “my” cave whatever raw creative material you determine is of value to you—a treasure I offer to you (words, phrases, and concepts) FREELY—I must insist on your INFORMED CONSENT.

Informed Consent:

Informed consent can only occur when a person is given—to the fullest and most accurate measure available at the time, with the humility and understanding that what we “know” and “understand” at a given moment in time is, majorly, either partially flawed or wholly incorrect; accepting that—in terms of Judgment—ignorance is not a defense.

I hope you approach this endeavor in the genuine and PROPER ATTITUDE of deference that should be afforded to all Matriarchs and Crones for, in my personal experience with my mother and grandmother, this reflects HONORABLE and NOBLE INTENTION.

Terms of Conditions of Use:

1. What you remove from this LIVING MINE (whatever you take…even an idea) becomes YOUR responsibility.

2. In exchange for whatever you take you promise to, COMMIT TO, putting the resource you’ve mined into objectively measurable ACTION—whatever your worldview—for how can you be sure that YOUR model will work—if you’ve been too afraid, too hidden, to put it to THE TEST of Reality?  Or, in the wise words of Elvis, “A little less conversation, a little more action.”

3. Know that the responsibility you assume is serious—in Biblical terms…a covenant—and however you use what you take will be exacted FROM YOU and the entirety of your sphere of influence (all have heard the idiom: with great power comes great RESPONSIBILITY).  In science you can refer to: bidirectional influence (psychology), mirror neurons (neurology) empathy conditioning (biology), generational transmission of culture (sociology/anthropology), and—in philosophy or religion—the wisdom of understanding that the sphere of influence you occupy is collective by nature and YOUR PERSONAL fruits will either be a blessing or a curse—as measured by YOUR FRUITS—with Reality’s caveat: you can’t serve TWO MASTERS.

4. YOUR REMOVAL of content means that whoever comes after you will be DENIED what you have TAKEN so I hope you use what you TAKE to do GOOD, good that is OBJECTIVELY DEMONSTRATABLE (and defensible) through your ACTIONS. 

A Personal Note:

From me to you, I find that my own attempt to sacrifice my Hubris to BENEFIT ALL of my brothers and sisters feels about as possible as, personally, actually embarking on a Mission to Mars—impossibly overwhelming.  That’s when I have to draw on wisdoms outside my sphere of influence—such as the wisdom offered by a Gift Shop Bangle: “The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step” because my desire to be a blessing (to not be a curse) to ALL I LOVE (and I love ALL) outweighs my personal desire to avoid cognitive dissonance.

I freely, gladly, offer to you now the only thing I have to give—FREELY—access to my creative mind and permission to mine it for the benefit of not only you but all in your sphere of influence.

Even though this work is copyrighted by me, legally, I GIVE YOU FULL PERMISSION AND MY WORD that neither I nor anyone from my Tribe will ever litigate over any usage of the material I have generated (as the material I have generated—whether shit or shine-ola—was an inheritance I did not EARN: as it was freely given to me, I give it freely to you).

I don’t care two figs for who gets credit for solving the world’s pressing problems…I just want unnecessary and avoidable suffering ended RIGHT NOW!

But I NEED your help, my Brothers and Sisters.  Where I am ignorant, GUIDE me.  Where I have MISUNDERSTANDING, guide me…perhaps you might even allow the mine to guide you to its bits of treasure (Wisdom).

May the Fruits we produce heretofore with the materials taken yield sweet tranquility both in the sovereign global reality and in our Souls.  Peace be with you ALL—for we were once ALL Eloi…and we can be again—by freeing ourselves from mental slavery.
